Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His global success has seen him become a part of mainstream Latin music. In 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The artist released his debut long-player ADN to the Medellin-based company Sony, which is distributed by La Industria Inc. It reached number 8 at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. He then joined Ozuna in the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel for Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina that year. In 2021, he appeared in a duet with TINI on her top streaming single Maldita Foto. 2000 saw him perform the hit song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo's mother and brother were musicians when the time he was born. He's said in interviews that music was a necessity. As a child, he was taught to perform on the piano, saxophone and guitar. While his initial career choice was to be a veterinarian, his brother Julian advised him to go for singing classes with the help of a Cuban teacher and the end result of recognizing his gift as a singer altered the direction of his life.
